A long time ago, whilst studying art at Camberwell, I discovered photography through the works of Cartier-Bresson, Bill Brandt and Lartigue. And when I should have been in class I often found myself wandering the streets of London, camera in hand, attempting to emulate the images of the masters.
Fast forward thirty-something years - the majority of which were spent shooting still life and interiors - and once again I was drawn to "the street". After all that time of highly controlled and, let's face it, contrived work, it's good to get out and record the world as I see it.....warts and all.
I am pleased to say the book is available at a new lower price.
